2 months old

The girls are now 2 months old and doing great. They had thier checkups and shots on Tuesday. They both weigh 8lbs 6oz and are 21 inches long. They are growing well and starting to be more alert. It is hard to have premies though because I am expecting them to start smiling at 6-8 weeks and the doctor said because their adjusted age is 2 weeks that they may take another 4 to 5 weeks to catch up. So it is a new experience with preemies and twins but it is also very rewarding and fun to have these girls in our family. I also got to go to church for the first time since the babies were born. Tony stayed home with the babies. It was really nice to listen to testimonies and feel the spirit. We probably won't take the twins to church until May or June because RSV season lasts so long and their immune systems aren't as strong as full term babies. Another thing I didn't know. Tylin and Tanner are still loving the girls and want to hold them every chance they can get. I really appreciate their help, I couldn't get everything done without them. Tony also watched the babies for me so I could go see the Hunger Games. It was so much fun to have a break but also I loved the movie. I am so lucky to have a husband who wants me to get a break. It was so nice. These past couple of months are kind of a blur but I am really enjoying Kinley and Karter. Twins are definitely double the fun! ( So I can't get the photos to upload so I am going to post and I'll keep trying for pictures. Sorry.)
