Trick or Treat!!

We love Halloween at our house. I think it is because it is the start of fall and the holiday season. My kids love to dress up and occasionally even I get in the spirit. This year we kept our tradition of Family Home Evening pumpkin carving. We didn't get too carried away this year. Tony carved a pumpkin of the babies' faces and then the kids painted their own. We had pumpkin bread and of course roasted pumpkin seeds, they are my favorite.

We also had our first snow of the season. There was finally enough snow to play in when it got dark and the kids couldn't wait to go out and build a snow man.

For the day of Halloween we went to Tony's work party. They give out lots of candy and decorate the halls. Then they have pizza and goodies for everyone. The twins were a big hit this year, and I have to admit they were pretty cute. Karter dressed up as a devil and Kinley was an angel. ( Not reflecting of their personalites, but I think Karter was a little bit naughtier when whe was dressed up. :) Tylin was cat woman, and Tanner was Optimus Prime. After the party we went to the church for a carnival. Tony stayed home with the babies and gave out candy to trick or treaters. The kids got to play lots of fun games and then they got tickets to redeem for prizes at the prize room. They loved that! So after getting candy at both parties the kids still wanted to go trick or treating, so we teamed up with some friends ( thank you Denise, Cooper and Reagan for coming with us) and hit the streets by our house. There were only a few with lights on but at least the kids got the experience. By the end of the night they were all exhausted, and so was I.

We had a fun time and now we can look forward to the next Holiday, Thanksgiving! Can't wait to see my family.
